Keep it temporary
Work is held in this tab’s session storage. Choose clearing after 1, 4, 8 or 12 hours without edits, with a 16-hour maximum from the first entry. A countdown and Wipe now control are included.
Review identifiers
The identifier guard warns about some names, record numbers and other identifying patterns. It can miss details; it does not make a handover anonymous.
Know what clearing means.
Clearing removes the app’s session data. It cannot guarantee secure erasure from memory or disk. Browsers may restore tab sessions; the app checks expired sessions before displaying them.
Printed sheets and copied text remain outside the app. Handle them according to your organisation’s policy. This is not a clinical record system, a substitute for the approved handover process or an independently validated clinical tool.
Use only synthetic examples during evaluation. Institutional approval and further validation are needed before using it for clinical work.
